Move Out Cleaning Addendum
BELL PROPERTY MANAGMENT
CLEANING CHECK-LIST
KITCHEN
- Clean all counter tops with 409 or equivalent, rinse and wipe dry.
- Spot clean the walls for splattered gremse using cleanser & a light sponge.
- Wash the woodwork removing fingerprints, streaks, food particles, etc.
- Clean & remove grease from the Stove top, the burners & drip pans.
- Clean the oven, broiler & broiler pan.
- (If Applicable) Clean the refrigerator & freezer, inside & out. DO NOT use sharp tools to remove ice from the freezer, serious damage can result at your expense. Leave it turned On - & THE DOORS CLOSED.
- Clean & remove grease from the range hood, both on top & underneath.
- Wash & wipe dry the windows & sills. Remove surface dirt & clean the window tracks.
- Clear the cabinets Of all items, & Wipe clean the shelves & cabinet doors inside & out With a damp sponge.
- Mop & clean the floors & baseboards.
- Remove all trash, garbage, etc. & place it in a dumpster Or haul it away.
- Clean the light fixtures removing all dust & bugs
GARAGE
The garage and/or carport must be swept. The utility room must be swept and free of debris.
LIVING ROOM/FAM!LY ROOM
- Sweep the carpet edges next to baseboards.
- Wash clean the windows & sills. Remove surface dirt & clean window tracks.
- Remove all smudges on the walls with cleanser & a light sponge.
- Clean fingerprints & dust from the light switches.
- Ceiling fans and light fixtures are to be cleaned inside and outside. All Burnt out bulbs must be replaced.
- Have all carpeting Professionally cleaned. (Receipts will be required and will be requested at time of move-out. If a receipt is not provided the cost of carpet cleaning will be deducted from the Security Deposit)
BEDROOMS & HALLS
- Sweep the carpet edges next to the baseboards.
- Clear the closet floor and shelves Of all articles, & Wipe it clean.
- Wash & clean windows and sills. Remove surface dirt & clean window tracks.
- Remove all on the walls With cleanser & a light sponge.
- Ceiling fans and light fixtures are to be cleaned inside and outside. All Burnt out bulbs must be replaced.
- Have all carpeting professionally cleaned. (Receipts will be needed)
BATHROOMS
- Scour clean With cleanser all fixtures, tub, toilet & basin.
- Polish the chrome with a soft dry cloth.
- Clean & remove dirt & soap from the tile around the tub & Shower with cleanser & scrub brush.
- Clean mirror & medicine cabinet with window cleaner, & wipe them dry.
- Remove all mold & mildew With X-14 cleaner or Tilex.
- Wipe down the walls removing all streaks, fingerprints, hair, makeup, etc.
OTHER
- Clean all mini blinds & plastic vertical blinds.
- The pool/spa must be left cleaned & properly chemically balanced.
- Remove all hooks, tacks, nails, staples, etc.. from all walls.
- Remove all belongings from the property.
- DO NOT LEAVE TRASH, RUBBISH OR DISCARDED BELONGINGS ON THE PREMISES, ARRANGE TO HAVE IT HAULED AWAY, PRIOR TO MOVE OUT.
LANDSCAPING
- The landscaping must be mowed, edged, weeded & returned to its original state.
- Gutters must be free of leaves.
- Walks and driveways are to be edged and swept.
- Shrubs are to be trimmed.
- Bare spots and holes caused by pets, vehicles, and or children’s toys must be filled in, leveled, fertilized and seeded.
ALL TRASH MUST BE REMOVED FROM PROPERTY
The fireplace, if used, must be cleaned by a Professional Chimney Sweep, If not used, it Must be inspected by a professional Chimney Sweep and a Certified Clean paid receipt provided when keys are submitted.
The return air filter(s) must be changed. Clean the cover and surrounding area. Clean all floor/or ceiling vents.
Garage, driveway, sidewalks, & patio areas are to be swept clean of leaves or debris.
When moving, DO NOT PARK or DRIVE the moving truck in the yard. This could result in damage to water/sewer lines.
NOTE Fees for cleaning & maintenance work;
All cleaning will be billed at a minimum of $85/hour with a minimum of one (1) hour charged, All maintenance will be billed at actual subcontractor's rate Of $85.00 an hour with a minimum of one hour charged.
"PLEASE BE SURE ALL ITEMS ARE COMPLETED AT TIME OF MOVE-OUT INSPECTION: OR A $125 DOLLAR RE-INSPECTION FEE WILL BE CHARGED.
Have you provided 30 day notice?
Effective January 2003, You are entitled to a pre-move out inspection. The purpose of this inspection is to help reduce the deductions taken from your security deposit. In order to receive this pre-inspection you must request it. A pre-move out inspection can be requested up to two weeks prior to your final move out. If you are interested in this please contact Maintenance at 626-317-0425.
This pre-move out inspection is not a substitute for your final move out inspection, which must be completed on your final day of move out. If you have questions regarding move out, please call our office. It has been a pleasure renting to you.
